Our site represents an 80+ year ongoing research project into the descendants of Adam Barner and his wife, Fanny (Conrad) (Bunn) Barner of Perry County, Pennsylvania. This project is being conducted by the History Committee of the Adam Barner Family Reunion.
The reason we titled this site as the "Official Barner Family Genealogy Data Site" is to distinguish it from other sites which are generally stagnant and error ridden. Sites such as those found on World Connect and the LDS Familysearch.org are examples of these sites. IF you obtained information from any of the previously mentioned sites or anywhere else you are strongly encouraged to check your data here for accuracy. If you submitted any information to those sites thinking it was being added to the family tree, I'm sorry to tell you that it was likely not not forwarded on to us. You should check this site to see if your data is here. If not, submit it directly to us and we'll see that it is promptly added.
Birth, Marriage, Death and Burial events are presented and represents a small part of the data available on many family members. It is meant as a starting point for sharing of information on our family. As we continue to discover more through research and cousins continue to contribute, this site will be updated. If you see errors, have items to share, sources for events, photos of people and places, directions to places or just comments to make, please contact us.
Sources for this material will be published on the Barner Family Reunion Digital Archive CD which will be available to Adams descendants beginning June 2008. Watch for updates on the Archive CD in the Family Stuff section.Following the
guidelines established by the National Genealogical Society we will not publish infomation on living persons.
If you desire NOT to have even your name displayed please contact us.
