     Robert Elwood Pryor was born on Wednesday, 23 March 1927 at Duboistown, Armstrong Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Elmer Rantz Pryor and Erma Alberta Sholder. Robert married, at the age of 19 Mildred Virginia Snook, age 18, daughter of John Wesley Snook and Edna Bitting, on Saturday, 2 November 1946 at Episcopal Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He died on Monday, 6 January 1997 at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 14 days at University Hospital, Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia.
