Relationship=2nd great-grandson of Adam Barner.
Jacob Long Barner was born on Saturday, 28 May 1898. He was the son of Samuel E. Barner and Annie L. Long. He was a partner of Bessie Catherine Murray Sourber. Jacob married, at the age of 22 Mary Elizabeth Zaring, age 16, daughter of Charles Zaring and Laura Bay, on Tuesday, 10 August 1920. He died on Thursday, 2 May 1957 at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 4 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
