     Jacob Lee Barner was born on Monday, 23 September 1895 at Pfoutz Valley, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Barner Jr. and Margaret Alice Deckard. Jacob married, at the age of 20 Ardella Baer Weirick, age 16 on Wednesday, 16 February 1916. He died on Saturday, 7 November 1970 at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 15 days at Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
