     Charles Price Barner was born on Sunday, 27 March 1881 at Millerstown, Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Barner Jr. and Margaret Alice Deckard. Charles married, at the age of 19 Annie Barbara Spicher, age 21, daughter of John Spicher and Mary [?], on Tuesday, 8 January 1901 at Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He died on Saturday, 13 June 1953 at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 17 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
