     John Emory Coffey was born on Sunday, 21 September 1890 at Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Charles B. Coffey and Lydia Alice Long. John married, at the age of 22 Kathryn Edna Fogelsanger, age 23 on Thursday, 24 April 1913. He died on Wednesday, 11 June 1952 at the age of 61 years, 8 months and 21 days. He was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
