     Edwin D. Barner was born on Sunday, 2 August 1868 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Enoch Barner and Rebecca Kerchner. Edwin married, at the age of 21 Sarah Alice Hummel, age 28 on Sunday, 23 February 1890. He died on Saturday, 16 December 1939 at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 14 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
