Jacob Henry Wilt was born on Thursday, 1 September 1870 at Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Wilt and Margaret Miller. Jacob married, at the age of 22 Susan Elmira Bryner, age 21 on Monday, 24 July 1893 at Oakdale, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He died on Sunday, 30 November 1947 at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 29 days at Medina, Medina County, Ohio. He was buried at Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina, Medina County, Ohio.
