Relationship=2nd great-grandson of Adam Barner.
George Barner Wilt was born on Thursday, 24 June 1852 at Cranberry Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Wilt and Margaret Miller. George married Alma Althea Downing, daughter of Samuel Downing and Nancy Ross, before 1878 at Venango County, Pennsylvania. He died on Wednesday, 15 March 1939 at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 19 days at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. He was buried in lot G 65, at Fairview Cemetery, Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana.
