     Roy Curtis Lyter was born on Monday, 14 November 1904 at Liverpool Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Henry Lyter and Mariah Agnes Barner. Roy married, at the age of 24 Margaret Mae Gelnett, age 23 on Wednesday, 14 November 1928. He died on Saturday, 31 December 1960 at the age of 56 years, 1 month and 17 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
