Herman Francis Meiser was born on Sunday, 26 March 1882 at St. Joseph County, Indiana. He was the son of John H. Meiser and Emma Minerva Barner. His nickname was Dutch. Herman married, at the age of 30 Katherine Evelyn Heinzen, age 24 on Tuesday, 22 October 1912 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. He died on Wednesday, 18 April 1962 at the age of 80 years and 23 days. He was buried at Buhl, Twin Falls County, Idaho.
