     Claude Samuel Housel was born on Monday, 13 March 1911 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Edward Housel and Elizabeth Garrett. Claude married, at the age of 20 Lillian Marie Barner, age 19, daughter of Edward Hayes Barner and Marie Belle Croyle, on Saturday, 14 March 1931 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Rev. [?] Straub. He and Lillian were divorced. He died on Sunday, 5 March 1995 at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 20 days at Leader Nursing Center, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
