John Gleovlin Barner was born on Thursday, 8 October 1885 at Richfield RD, Monroe Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Adam Barner and Elizabeth Ann Long. John married, at the age of 20 Maizie I. Naylor, age 25 on Monday, 25 December 1905. He died on Sunday, 5 November 1961 at the age of 76 years and 28 days.
