     Jerome Sylvarus Meixell was born on Monday, 15 December 1851 at Kelly Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Martin Meixell and Mary Ann Barner. Jerome married Cornelia [?] before June 1880. Jerome married Catherine Mitchell circa 1884. He died on Saturday, 19 December 1914 at the age of 63 years and 4 days at Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Michigan. He was buried on Tuesday, 22 December 1914 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Reed City, Osceola County, Michigan.
