     Anne Barner was born on Friday, 2 February 1827 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John B. Barner and Mary Catharine Sheadle. Anne married, at the age of 19 John A. Rauch on Thursday, 10 September 1846. She died on Monday, 16 September 1912 at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 14 days at Plainfield, Bremer County, Iowa. She was buried on Tuesday, 17 September 1912 at Plainfield, Iowa.
