     Raymond McClellan Barner was born on Monday, 16 June 1919 at Salona, Lamar Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Grover Cleveland Barner and Nancy Elizabeth Barner. Raymond married, at the age of 27 Hazel Kathleen Bennett on Tuesday, 1 October 1946. He died on Wednesday, 3 May 1989 at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 17 days at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Lamar Township (near Mill Hall), Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
