     Grover Clyde Barner was born on Tuesday, 24 April 1917 at Rote, Lamar Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Grover Cleveland Barner and Nancy Elizabeth Barner. Grover married, at the age of 22 Louise Dorothy Mayes, age 19, daughter of Edward James Mayes and Ethyl Larue Glossner, on Tuesday, 16 January 1940 at Mill Hall, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He died on Tuesday, 9 August 2011 at the age of 94 years, 3 months and 16 days at Susque-View Home, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was interred on Monday, 15 August 2011 at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
