     George Dietz was born on Wednesday, 11 July 1832 at Wittemberg, Germany. He was the son of John Dietz and Margaret Klein. George married, at the age of 21 Mary Ann Keisling, age 18, daughter of Frederick Keisling and Anna Marie [?], on Saturday, 31 December 1853 at Snyder County, Pennsylvania, by George Mastin, Justice of the Peace. He died on Tuesday, 25 September 1894 at the age of 62 years, 2 months and 14 days at Monroe Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
