     Floyd Inman Barner was born on Friday, 1 January 1915 at Salona, Lamar Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clarence Hope Barner and Matilda Agnes Karckner. His nickname was Boots. Floyd married, at the age of 22 Genevieve Jauquette Miller, age 19, daughter of Harry Hoyt Miller and Mae Ardelia Frantz, on Saturday, 16 October 1937 at Clinton County, Pennsylvania. In addition to being husband and wife, Floyd and Genevieve were also third cousins one time removed. He died on Thursday, 28 June 2001 at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 27 days at Jersey Shore Hospital, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Tylersville Reformed (Union) Cemetery, Tylersville, Logan Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
