     Mahlon Henry Barner was born on Friday, 21 September 1906 at Mill Hall, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Clarence Hope Barner and Matilda Agnes Karckner. He married, at age 26, Sarah Lovina Kunes, age 21, daughter of Wesley Kunes and Emma Strunk, on Tuesday, 7 March 1933 in the parsonage of theBaptist Church, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He died on Saturday, 18 June 1988 at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 28 days at Lock Haven Hospital, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedar Hill, Lamar Township (near Mill Hall), Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
