     Charles Hayes Paul was born on Sunday, 5 June 1904 at Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Sampson Paul and Sarah Malinda Barner. Charles married, at the age of 33 Sofia Kielar, age 26, daughter of John Joseph Kielar and Susanna Helen Brodnicka, on Saturday, 22 January 1938 at Penns Grove, Salem County, New Jersey. He died in Iowa aboard a train while returning from a trip to California on Friday, 16 November 1962 at age 58 years, 5 months and 11 days. He was buried at Highland Cemetery, Lock Haven, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
