Catharine Arnold was born on Sunday, 28 May 1809. Catharine married, at the age of 38 George Barner, age 46, son of Henry Barner and Susanna Bunce, on Monday, 6 December 1847. She died on Sunday, 20 January 1884 at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 23 days. She was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
