     Torrence Duncan Barner was born on Saturday, 16 November 1907 at Flemington, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Lyman Charles Barner and Bertha Blanche Fisher. He died on Monday, 10 October 1955 at the age of 47 years, 10 months and 24 days. He was buried at Schenck Cemetery, Howard, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
