Lizzie Gay Wolfe was born on Saturday, 16 December 1899 at Youngdale, Wayne Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William Howard Wolfe and Viola Rebecca Barner. She went by Gay. Lizzie married, at the age of 18 Robert Ferguson Stabley, age 17 on Monday, 28 January 1918. She died in September 1979 at the age of 79 years and 8 months.
