Eldon Lynk Barner was born on Thursday, 20 February 1936 at Wellington, Sumner County, Kansas. He was the son of Charles Merle Barner and Marie Edith Reeves. Eldon married (1) Darlene Wiley in 1955 at Belle Plaine, Sumner County, Kansas. He and Darlene were divorced in 1956. Eldon married (2), at the age of 22 Carroll Lynn Walker, daughter of Frank Guilford Walker and Bernice Lucile Blakey, on Monday, 9 June 1958 at Udall, Cowley County, Kansas. He and Carroll were divorced in 1978. He died on Wednesday, 9 December 2009 at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 19 days.
