Mattie Beulah Richardson was born on Sunday, 15 November 1885 at Valley Center, Sedgwick County, Kansas. She was the daughter of Andrew J. Richardson and Ada Ann Martin. Mattie married, at the age of 21 Ray J. Barner, age 22, son of Abraham Lincoln Barner and Laura Alice Cox, on Monday, 19 November 1906. She died on Saturday, 23 March 1963 at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 8 days at Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California. She was buried in section J, lot 103, plot 2, at Belle Plaine Cemetery, Belle Plaine, Sumner County, Kansas.
