Relationship=Great-grandson of Adam Barner.
George L. Barner was born on Friday, 30 April 1841 at Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Barner and Lydia Lahr. George married, at the age of 21 Mary Maria Miller, age 16, daughter of Samuel Miller and Cathrina [?], on Sunday, 23 November 1862. He died on Sunday, 7 November 1926 at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 8 days at Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
