     Edith Regina Barner was born on Sunday, 21 October 1894 at Carroll, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Franklin Pierce Barner and Teressa Eva Brungard. Edith married, at the age of 22 Chester Franklin Schroyer, age 26, son of George Albert Schroyer and Jemima E. Boone, on Friday, 27 October 1916. In addition to being husband and wife, Edith and Chester were also second cousins. She died on Wednesday, 29 April 1998 at the age of 103 years, 6 months and 8 days at River Woods, Lewisburg, East Buffalo Township, Union County, Pennsylvania. She was buried at Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Eastville, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
