     William H. Shadle was born on Monday, 8 September 1851 at Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Solomon Shadle and Hannah Gheen. William married, at the age of 28 Cornelia Rachel Barner, age 22, daughter of Isaac Barner and Elizabeth Bryson, on Tuesday, 20 July 1880. He died on Saturday, 31 October 1925 at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 23 days. He was buried at Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
