Relationship=Great-granddaughter of Adam Barner.
Susannah Ann Barner was born on Monday, 23 December 1839 at Juniata County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of George Barner and Lydia Lahr. Susannah married Daniel B. Stroup in 1859. She died during child birth on Monday, 27 December 1875 at the age of 36 years and 4 days at home at Portage Prairie, St. Joseph County, Indiana. She was buried at Ullery Cemetery, South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, She was buried with the impressive ceremonies of the Grange order, of which she was a worthy member. The attendance at the funeral was very large. The procession was nearly a mile long.
