Terry Lester Barner was born on Wednesday, 19 February 1947 at Moscow, Latah County, Idaho. He was the son of Melvin Vern Barner and Edna Grace Purser. He died from critical head injuries received as a result of a fight on Friday, 24 July 1964 at the age of 17 years, 5 months and 5 days at Sacred Heart Hospital, Spokane, Spokane County, Washington. He was buried at Moscow City Cemetery, Moscow, Latah County, Idaho.
