Relationship=2nd great-grandson of Adam Barner.
Clarence Hope Barner was born on Saturday, 9 May 1874. He was the son of William M. Barner and Malinda Wolfe. Clarence married, at the age of 24 Matilda Agnes Karckner, age 20, daughter of Philip Karchner and Rebecca Gramley, on Sunday, 25 December 1898. He died at 4:10 p.m. at his home after being stricken while at work as a carpenter on the Earl STROUSE farm, Cedar Run on Wednesday, 4 April 1951 at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 26 days He was working with his son, Mahlon H., Mill Hall contractor, when he suddenly became ill. He was taken home by his son but died shortly after. at Mill Hall, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He was buried on Saturday, 7 April 1951 at Mt. Pleasant Evangelical Cemetery, Rosecrans, Greene Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.
