Lyman Charles Barner was born on Tuesday, 7 May 1867. He was the son of Thomas Barner and Sarah Shull. Lyman married, at the age of 39 Bertha Blanche Fisher, age 23, daughter of Duncan Fisher and Sarah [?], on Thursday, 14 June 1906 at Clinton County, Pennsylvania. He died in 1953 at the age of 85 years. He was buried at Schenck Cemetery, Howard, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
