Barner Franklin Clemens was born on Thursday, 8 September 1921 at Mexico, Walker Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Joseph Leopold Clemens and Lurena Mae Fleisher. Barner married Emma Laura Girdham, daughter of Grover Girdham and Edna Textor. He died on Sunday, 3 February 1974 at the age of 52 years, 4 months and 26 days at Port Richey, Pasco County, Florida. He was buried at Meadow Lawn Memorial Gardens, Pasco County, Florida.
