     Jacob Meldon Cutsforth was born on Tuesday, 1 August 1922. He was the son of Reuben Jesse Cutsforth and Verona Bingham. His nickname was Jake. Jacob married Norma Geraldine Barner, daughter of Beecher Belmont Barner and Maria Newby. He died on Saturday, 27 July 1996 at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 26 days. He was buried at Masonic Cemetery, Gervais, Marion County, Oregon.
