Fern Annie Bucher was born on Friday, 7 July 1922. She was the daughter of Stanley Ray Bucher and Minnie Ellen Barner. Fern married, at the age of 21 Gerald Eugene Hood, age 22, son of Percy Hood and Mabel [?], on Saturday, 6 May 1944. She died on Thursday, 20 September 1979 at the age of 57 years, 2 months and 13 days. She was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
