Paul Eugene Barner was born on Monday, 21 July 1919 at Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Long Barner and Bessie Catherine Murray Sourber. Paul married (1), at the age of 17 Daisy Elizabeth Craft, age 16, daughter of Edward L. Craft and Bertha May Almoney, on Friday, 25 December 1936 at Wormleysburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He and Daisy were divorced. Paul married (2) Cleodith Winifred Arnold. He died on Sunday, 28 October 1984 at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 7 days at Sacramento, Sacramento County, California. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
