     Albert Luther Barner was born on Friday, 27 October 1911 at Pfoutz Valley, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Charles Price Barner and Annie Barbara Spicher. Albert married, at the age of 23 Alma Pauline Goodling, age 20, daughter of Calvin E. Goodling and Mae W. Frymoyer, on Thursday, 11 April 1935. In addition to being husband and wife, Albert and Alma were also fourth cousins 1 time removed. He died on Monday, 16 June 1986 at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 20 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
