Victor married, at the age of 24 Eleanor Jean Barner, daughter of Lester Carl Barner and Elsie Jane Rodabaugh, on Friday, 22 October 1943 at Greensburg, Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. He died peacefuuly following an extended illness on Monday, 2 October 2006 at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 8 days at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
