     John Lemuel Barner was born on Monday, 25 November 1907 at Webster City, Hamilton County, Iowa. He was the son of George Stewart Barner and Romayne Hertzler Brenneman Strickler. John married, at the age of 27 Margaret Graham Wallace, age 27, daughter of Harry Glen Wallace and Ethel Maude Graham, on Saturday, 19 October 1935 at Harry & Ethel Wallace Home, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. He died on Wednesday, 22 March 2000 at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 26 days at Sarasota, Manatee County, Florida.
