     Henry McClellan Barner was born on Monday, 30 November 1863 at Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George L. Barner and Mary Maria Miller. He died on Sunday, 14 February 1864 at the age of 2 months and 13 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
