William Henry Light was born on Friday, 16 August 1867. He was the son of Joseph Light and Julyan Limbert. William married, at the age of 25 Alice Catharine Barner, age 18, daughter of George L. Barner and Mary Maria Miller, on Tuesday, 16 August 1892. He died on Monday, 15 November 1943 at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 30 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
