     Allen Irving Klinger was born on Friday, 15 September 1893 at Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Henry C. Klinger and Sarah Elizabeth Barner. Allen married, at the age of 24 Willamina Barner, age 16, daughter of Samuel Edmund Barner and Kathryn (Strawser) Ehringer, on Saturday, 3 August 1918. In addition to being husband and wife, Allen and Willamina were also first cousins. He died on Friday, 3 August 1973 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 19 days at Mahoning Township, Montour County, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Saint Paul's Cemetery, Liverpool, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
