Dora Ann Barner was born on Thursday, 4 June 1891 at Oriental, Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Collinson Barner and Emma Dietz. Dora married, at the age of 23 Banks Leister Swartz, age 21 on Thursday, 4 June 1914. She died on Sunday, 13 April 1975 at the age of 83 years, 10 months and 9 days at Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She was buried on Wednesday, 16 April 1975 at Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Millerstown, Greenwood Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
