     Josephine Barner Straup was born on Monday, 9 July 1906 at Lydick, Warren Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Jacob Edward Straup and Lillian May Ross. Josephine married Clyde Maupin Funk in 1926. She died on Monday, 2 November 1998 at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 24 days.
