     John T. Barner was born on Wednesday, 18 September 1816 at Greenwood Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania,, now Liverpool Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Barner and Maria Dups. John married Mary A. [?]. He died on Thursday, 6 August 1846 at the age of 29 years, 10 months and 19 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
