George W. Barner was born on Friday, 2 September 1859 at Pennsylvania. He was the son of Absalom L. Barner and Susan Stroup. He died due to Diphtheria on Saturday, 18 January 1873 at the age of 13 years, 4 months and 16 days. He was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
