Frederick House Barner was born on Friday, 20 July 1860 at Oriental, Susquehanna Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Joseph L. Barner and Sarah Elizabeth House. Frederick married (1) Wilhelmina Goodling. Frederick married (2), at the age of 28 Edith Christina Solomonson Sell, age 24 on Wednesday, 17 October 1888 at Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado. He died on Sunday, 21 March 1909 at the age of 48 years, 8 months and 1 day at Pueblo, Colorado. He was buried at Elks Cemetery, Pueblo, Pueblo County, Colorado.
