Lydia Alice Long was born on Friday, 22 June 1866 at Southampton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Samuel Long and Lydia Ann Barner. Lydia married, at the age of 23 Charles B. Coffey, age 26 on Wednesday, 19 February 1890. She died on Sunday, 24 June 1894 at the age of 28 years and 2 days. She was buried at Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
