     Almeda Went Barner was born on Thursday, 30 March 1871 at Holdaman's Island, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Henry L. Barner and Maria Went. Almeda married, at the age of 19 Irvin Justice Cox, age 23, son of David B. Cox and Anna M. [?], on Sunday, 19 October 1890. She died on Monday, 30 July 1956 at the age of 85 years and 4 months. She was buried at Barner's (Saint John's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Liverpool RD 1, Perry County, Pennsylvania.
